In addition to walking in the AIDS Walk join the Walk team as a volunteer. We need hundreds of dedicated volunteers to assist us prior to the event and on the days of the Walks. We couldn't host this large of an event without the help of the community!
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
AIDS Walk Promotion:
In August and September at least 40 volunteers are needed in New Castle County and 20 volunteers are needed in Kent County and also in Sussex County to distribute posters and registration pamphlets to local businesses, churches, schools, and community centers.
AIDS Walk Event:
On September 27th in Wilmington and on October 4th in Dover and Rehoboth Beach, volunteers are needed to help with setting up and breaking down the event, registering walkers, distributing water, and acting as route marshals. 100 volunteers are needed in New Castle County and 50 volunteers are needed at both the Kent County and Sussex County Walks.
