Q: When is the AIDS Walk?
A: Wilmington, Oct. 1st - Rehoboth Beach, Oct. 8th - Dover, October 15th
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: The Walk will be held rain or shine.
Q: Is there a registration fee?
A: There is no registration fee for the untimed Walks. We are grateful for your work in obtaining pledges. The fee for the timed Wilmington Run is $20 in advance and $25 day of.
Q: Is there a minimum amount of pledges I need to raiser?
A: There is no minimum or entry fee. We appreciate you doing your best to raise funds.
Q: Someone approached me on the street for a donation; what should I do?
A: We strongly discourage our participants from collecting donations in public spaces. We advise you do not give donations to someone you do not know, especially in public settings. Please contact the AIDS Walk Delaware office if you see someone collecting funds in an unsafe or unendorsed manner.
Q: How do I know if my employer has a matching gift program? If so, how do I get the funds?
A: Contact your Human Resources department about your company's matching gift program. If they participate, they will give you a form to complete. Enclose the completed form in your pledge envelope.
Q: Who will be using the information on the pledge form?
A: Only the Walk presenters (AIDS Delaware and Delaware HIV Consortium) will have access to any of your informaiton or that of your donors. If you do not wish to be added to the mailing list, simply indicate such on your envelope.
Q: Some of my family and friends have said they have made online donations, but I do not see them on my page?
A: Online donations can take up to two days to be processed and added to your page. If it does not appear on your page after two days, call the AIDS Walk Delaware office at 302.656.6776 for assistance.

Q: Is Parking free?
A: Yes.
Q: Will I need to bring money for food and beverages?
A: All food and beverages are FREE.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Dogs are welcome but must be on leashes at all times.
